Offecct erbjuder sedan tidigare ett brett sortiment av ljudabsorberande väggpaneler, designade av världsledande formgivare. Den mångsidiga kollektionen Soundwave® bidrar inte enbart till bra ljudmiljö utan ger även karaktär till inredningen.

Akustikpanelen Jasmineär resultatet av det första samarbetet mellan den Italienbaserade produktdesignern Layla Mehdi Pour och Offecct.

”När jag designade Jasmine inspirerades jag av naturliga element som kan verka oregelbundna i sin makroform, men som i detaljerna har en underbar precision och regelbunden struktur. I det här fallet utgick jag i första hand från blommor och till en konkret produkt med en lekfull karaktär”, säger hon.

Lösningar för att skapa goda, hållbara ljudmiljöer i offentliga rum blir allt viktigare. Jasmines koppling till den levande, naturliga miljön kan ses som ett svar på just det ökande behovet av att reducera buller och återskapa lugnet på till exempel kontor, restauranger och andra mötesplatser.

”Jag strävade efter att fånga naturens poetiska rytm och blanda den med mer geometriska, triangulära former som kan kombineras på olika sätt och skapa nya uttryck och kompositioner”, säger Layla Mehdi Pour.

Layla Mehdi Pour

Layla Mehdi Pour är produktdesigner med iranskt ursprung och bosatt i Italien. Hon är utbildad vid IUAV i Venedig och konstuniversitetet i Teheran med en examen i industriell design. Efter det fortsatte hon sina forskarstudier i miljöeffektiv produktdesign vid Politecnico i Turin. Hennes kreativa arbete fokuserar på att återuppfinna vardagliga föremål genom att förvandla dem till innovativa, samtida objekt. Layla Mehdi Pour har ställt ut på bland annat Milan Design Week, London Design festival och Stockholm Furniture and Light Fair.

New collaboration behind playful acoustic panel

Offecct is now launching yet another new expression in the Soundwave® collection. The new Jasmine acoustic panel is designed by Offecct´s new designer Layla Mehdi Pour and is inspired by nature's interplay between order and irregularity. The panel is shaped like a triangle and can be combined into various playful solutions.
