OFFECCTs designchef Anders Englund antar nya utmaningar
Från och med den 6 maj 2019 arbetar Anders Englund vidare med OFFECCTs strategiska designarbete i Flokk Design Council.
Anders Englund grundade tillsammans med Kurt Tingdal designföretaget Offecct år 1990. Sedan dess har varumärket vuxit till att bli en av Sveriges största producenter av möbler till offentliga miljöer, där filosofin alltid varit att skapa möten mellan människor. Offecct har firat stora internationella framgångar och idag är Offecct ett globalt varumärke. Sedan maj 2017 ingår Offecct i den norska koncernen Flokk, en internationell koncern med fokus på design och inredning av kontor.
Med ett starkt fokus på att stärka Offecct på den globala marknaden antar Anders Englund nu sin nya roll med strategiskt designarbete för Flokk Design Council.
– Efter 29 års arbete med uppbyggnaden av Offecct, kommer mitt nya uppdrag nu bland annat att handla om att arbeta med strategiska framtidsfrågor för Offeccts vidareutveckling av produkter inom Flokks område för Soft-Seating, säger Anders Englund.
Flokk Design Council är en strategi- och utvecklingsgrupp som hanterar alla olika varumärken i Flokks erbjudande, där det viktigaste arbetet är att utveckla kompletterande produkter och säkerställa respektive varumärkes identitet och framtid. Designrådet leds av Christian Lodgaard, Senior Vice President för Products & Brands.
– Mitt uppdrag är att ha ett fast fokus på framtiden för Offecct, men i ett nytt forum och tillsammans med den samlade kompetens som finns i Flokks designråd, avslutar Anders Englund.
Offeccts externa AD Eero Koivisto, som samarbetat med Offecct under många år, både strategiskt och som designer kommer fortsatt att arbeta vidare med designutvecklingen.
