Press release -

The Netherlands – the next step in Offecct’s expansion.

This spring, the Swedish furniture and design company Offecct is launching a new collaboration with Flokk Netherlands at Flokk Design Center in Rotterdam. The premiere will be held off site during the Rotterdam Design District trade show with three breakfast seminars presenting Richard Hutten, Andrea Ruggiero and Ineke Hans.

“Rotterdam is a growing centre for design, architecture and art in Europe and we are pleased to have a partner here. We are looking forward to a long-term cooperation,”
says Offecct’s CEO Kurt Tingdal.

Rotterdam Design District, held June 6-8, is the leading trade show for interior design in the Netherlands and this year Offecct’s representative and owner, Flokk, will be holding three breakfast seminars at the Flokk Design Center, Blaak 28, in the city center.

The program presents three different “design talks” (see dates below) with Offecct’s trio of designers; Andrea Ruggiero, Ineke Hans and Richard Hutten, talking about the future of design.

Rotterdam Design District is a leading meeting place for the industry in the Netherlands and an inspiring event. Flokk´s breakfast seminars are held outside of the fair area and we are happy to be a part of them,” says Offecct’s CEO Kurt Tingdal.

The event also marks the start of Offecct's increased presence in the Netherlands, as the company is now establishing a local sales office and showroom at the Flokk Design Center and together with Flokk.

Surf – a new mobile table for Offecct by Maximilian Schmahl.

Surf is moved around easily, yet it is no “furniture” according to the designer, rather “a tool for achieving maximum flexibility in activity-based venues.” Whether there is a computer or a couple of cups of coffee sitting on top of it.
