Karin Strandberg Blom joins Nice Drama as Executive Producer

Nice Drama, a NENT Studios company, has appointed Karin Strandberg Blom as Executive Producer. Karin has more than 20 years’ experience in production and business development across film, TV and theatre, and joins Nice Drama from international distribution company Eccho Rights.


Karin Strandberg Blom has worked as a Producer at the Royal Dramatic Theatre in Stockholm, and at SF Studios and Warner Bros. Her most recent role was Drama Development Executive at Eccho Rights. She joined Nice Drama in September 2019 and will report to Alexander Tanno, CEO of Nice Drama.

Karin most recently worked with acquisitions, development and strategy, and over the past two years her focus has been on helping Nordic producers develop and finance projects in an increasingly competitive market.

Nice Drama has produced award winning, high quality drama series such as ‘Midnight Sun’, which won the Audience Award at Series Mania 2016 along with three categories at the Roma Fiction Fest 2016 and Best International Drama at Content London 2017. The series was also nominated for the Golden Nymph Awards 2017.

Other productions from Nice Drama include the acclaimed series ‘Thicker than Water’; NENT Group’s original productions ‘Superswede’ and ‘Hassel’; and the family movie ‘Alone in Space’.

Nice Drama is currently in production with SVT and YLE’s upcoming thriller series “White Wall”, premiering fall 2020
