Jessica Nordlander, CDO at STS, awarded ‘Sweden’s Most Innovative Leader’

At the 'Chefgala' ceremony in Stockholm yesterday, Jessica Nordlander, Chief Digital Officer at STS Education, received the award for Sweden's Most Innovative Leader, the most important management and leadership award in the country.

Andreas Miller, Ledarna's Chairman of the Board, handed out the prize at the 'Chefgala' in Stockholm.

"In Jessica Nordlander we see a manager who breaks new ground. With her innovative leadership, she has taken the entire company's digitalization journey under her wing. It is a brave step in an organization that has been very analogous," says Andreas Miller. "In this case, leadership has greatly contributed to the success of the business in the globalized world."

"Today's leadership is not, as in traditional industry, about creating efficiency and control. Instead it is about equipping the organization for innovation and constant change. The complete opposite, in other words. My role has been to support the managers in creating a new type of organization that can handle it," says Jessica Nordlander.

"The whole team and I are glad and proud for the prize that Jessica has won and what she accomplished throughout 2018. She really is a gifted leader and has had a transformational impact on our organisation," says John Cedergårdh, CEO at STS Education.
