A doubled number of TCS Lidingöloppet app downloads provided SEK 165.000 to Astrid Lindgren’s Children's Hospital

• TCS donates SEK 5 to Astrid Lindgren Children's Hospital for each download of the official TCS Lidingöloppet app.

• In total, the official 2018 TCS Lidingöloppet app was downloaded over 20.000 times, double the number from the previous year.

• TCS organized a donation activation during the race, where the audience's cheers affected the amount donated and raised a total of SEK 67.000.

STOCKHOLM | 22 October 2018: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is the title and technology sponsor of the TCS Lidingöloppet which this year took place between 28-30 September. In conjunction with the TCS Lidingöloppet, TCS partner with Astrid Lindgren Children's Hospital, where various activities related to the race affect the size of TCS donation to the hospital.

During the first year (2016), TCS came to donate SEK 100.000 for a "mind room" where children's senses are stimulated. In 2017, SEK 156.000 went towards modern and interactive technology to make a long hospital corridor alive and exciting.

Avinash Limaye, Swedish country manager says: "This year we donate SEK 167.000 and we hope that our contribution to Astrid Lindgren Children's Hospital will enable the hospital to provide more joy and happiness for the children and their families who receive care."

Much thanks to the playful surroundings and the many different activities available to children of all ages.
