PS acquires Units and Slag1

PS Intressenter, which is the parent company of PS Auction, has today acquired the Auction & Valuation House U.N.I.T.S. AB and Slag1 AB

UNITS operates throughout southern and central Sweden in insolvency auctions and has above all built a strong position in the region of Skåne. A position that is secured by becoming part of PS and thus be able to secure resources and IT development. The founders Thorbjörn Pettersson and Bertil Sjöö will continue to work during the autumn, just as usual.

The acquisition includes SLAG1, led by Björn Sjöö as CEO of the company and continued focus on liquidations and divestments in areas such as construction, agriculture and workshops.

Both PS and UNITS will continue with their respective brands and different offerings. The acquisition mainly means that we can benefit from a number of synergies that ensure that we grow together, where among other things,  IT development will be an important area.

PS wants to be an innovator in a fairly conservative industry. We want more people to start buying used machines and goods and be able to do it safely. We also want our clients to feel that we have the knowledge, resources and systems that make us their number one and most valuable business partner. Together with UNITS, we deliver Sweden's absolutely strongest offer to our customers in insolvency and liquidation, and an interesting and developable complement in divestments - Slag1

The auction company Pettersson & Son was founded in 1958 by Folke Pettersson, sold in 2005 and became PS Auction. More than 60 years later, his son Thorbjörn Pettersson sells UNITS to PS and the circle is closed. Circular economy in all different aspects.
