But since we eat other creatures' babies, we desperately need to break down the current hierarchy that normalizes speciesism. 🐷
🐽 First of all, intelligence comes in so many different ways, the humankind is not bright enough to grasp the diverse scope.
🐽 Secondly, we know that, for example, pigs are smarter than both dogs and 3-year-old human babies.
🐽 Thirdly, why does it even matter if a sentient being is "clever" in our eyes? Is it easier to endure pain if you don't understand where it comes from?
🙏 Let’s be fair. This sweet kiddo is 100% innocent of humankind f*cking up the world since forever. But we could do our best to make sure she and the coming generations are less dumbfounded by our norms. More respectful, and consciously intelligent. 🌱
