Launch: USB 3.0 MIL-STD-1553 and ARINC INTERFACE
The USB-MA4, which is about the size of a deck of cards, provides 1-2 dual redundant 1553 channels, and/or 8 ARINC-429 channels.In addition to 1553/ARINC full RX/TX message controls, USB-MA4 can generate or capture (o-scope) raw bus signals for protocol and electrical troubleshooting.
Alta’s USB-MA4 product is the latest peripheral interconnect technology for 1553 and ARINC avionics buses (networks). A USB 3.0 SuperSpeed 1553/ARINC product has been eagerly awaited in the market as current USB 2.0 interfaces can have serious throughput issues. Along with Alta’s real-time Ethernet (ENET) converter and Thunderbolt appliances, and industry leading interface cards.
