Regin invests in growth and opens innovation center in Lund
AB Regin invests in future growth and announces the move of the R&D department from Landskrona to the city of Lund. The new location will be an innovation center for digitalization and automation technology. Here, the future green-tech solutions for smart climate control in real estates aimed at international markets will take shape.
“The automation industry is currently undergoing several transformations that require advanced solutions where several technologies must interact. Lund is an international business- and innovation hub for high-tech industries. In combination with the closeness to Lund University, one of the top tier Universities in Sweden, this gives us ideal conditions to accelerate innovation and growth, says Gunnar Åberg, CTO at AB Regin.
The new location will be located at Ideon Science Park, an innovation center for life science, software/IoT, telecommunications, energy, and smart materials. The new facilities are designed to enhance collaboration and innovation through shared workspaces, creative rooms, state-of the art labs and amenities such as gym, restaurants, and recreation facilities close by.
“R&D has always been the core of Regin's strategy. Regin is now making major investments for future growth and the move to Lund and Ideon is an important milestone,” says Fredrik Wiking, President and CEO of AB Regin.
