Stephen Coppinger signs with Salming Squash! Becoming the first player to win a title with a Salming Squash racket!

Stephen Coppinger won the South Africa Nationals in June with the new Salming Aero Forza racket. And so, is the first player in Team Salming who wins a title with Salmings new product segment Squash Rackets - The Aero Vectran Series.

Stephen Coppinger is South Africa’s highest ranked player on the PSA World Tour and won his first PSA World Tour event at 2007’s Buler Squash Challenge Cup. Coppinger enjoyed a fruitful 2013, breaking the top twenty in the world barrier in April, becoming the first South African to do so since the late 1970’s. 2014 brought with it Coppinger’s first PSA World Tour title in three years after he defeated Marwan Elshorbagy in the final of the Northern Ontario Championship in April. Dublin-born Coppinger was impressive at the World Championship in November 2014, making it to the quarter-final before being defeated by Mohamed Elshorbagy en-route to the final.
