Sambla Group strengthens its sustainability focus with new ESG Manager – Klara Lindvall

Sambla Group continues to step up its sustainability efforts with the ambition to become a frontrunner in financial empowerment. Earlier this year, the company appointed Klara Lindvall as ESG Manager, with the mandate to lead the Group’s ESG agenda and ensure that sustainability is fully integrated into its strategy going forward.

“Sustainability is a central part of our long-term strategy. With Klara on board, we have strengthened our ability to stay ahead of upcoming ESG regulations and to develop services that provide security and real value for our customers,” says Hans Skruvfors, CEO of Sambla Group.

Sambla Group’s ambition is not only to keep pace with developments in sustainable finance, but to actively shape them. The company’s sustainability work focuses on:

  • Financial empowerment – helping customers make safe, informed financial decisions and supporting long-term financial health.
  • Environment and climate – measuring, reducing, and ultimately neutralizing the company’s climate impact.
  • Ethics and governance – ensuring transparency, strong ethical standards, and regulatory compliance throughout the value chain.

Klara Lindvall has a broad background in sustainability and finance. Most recently, she worked at Knowit as an ESG Management Consultant and ESG Controller, and she also has experience from the financial services, the Swedish Government Offices and international development cooperation. Her combination of regulatory insight, financial expertise, and industry experience makes her well equipped to take Sambla Group’s sustainability work to the next level

“There is strong momentum for sustainability in our industry right now. Sambla Group has clear ambitions and the potential to lead the development of responsible lending. I look forward to working with the leadership team and colleagues to turn these ambitions into concrete initiatives that make a real difference – for customers, partners, and society,” says Klara Lindvall, ESG Manager at Sambla Group.

Sambla Group’s Sustainability Report
has this year been named a finalist in the Swedish Design Awards in the category Editorial – Annual Report Unlisted 2025, where the company won silver. The recognition highlights not only strong design execution but also the importance of communicating sustainability in a way that is clear, engaging, and inspiring.

The company has also recently become a partner to Majblomman, supporting their mission to fight child poverty in Sweden. This partnership reflects Sambla Group’s broader ambition to create positive social impact beyond its core business.
