Sambla Group steps up its work on financial sustainability – publishes its 2025 Sustainability Report
Sambla Group today publishes its Sustainability Report for 2025, a year characterised by a new vision, a clearer strategic direction and a strengthened focus on financial sustainability. With financial empowerment at its core, the report describes how sustainability is integrated into the Group’s strategy, governance and day-to-day operations.
In 2025, Sambla Group adopted a new sustainability strategy with five focus areas: climate and resource efficiency, financial empowerment, customer protection, engaged employees and equal opportunities, and good governance. The strategy was approved by the Board of Directors and is clearly linked to the Group’s business and risk management.
“2025 has been a breakthrough year for Sambla Group. With a clearer strategy, strengthened management and higher demands for stability, transparency and customer protection, we are taking the next step in standing on the customer’s side and showing that responsible financial services can strengthen people’s everyday finances,” says Hans Skruvfors, CEO of Sambla Group.
To strengthen customers’ opportunities to make informed decisions, Sambla Group broadened its offering during the year. New features include Sambla Pension, which aggregates and visualises customers’ pension savings, as well as expanded credit card comparisons in all Nordic markets, where fees, interest rates and terms are made fully comparable in a digital service.
At the same time, the company continues to focus on refinancing loans to lower interest costs, reduce the risk of over-indebtedness and increase the resilience of household finances. By consolidating several loans into a more manageable whole, customers can obtain better terms and create more room in their everyday finances.
As part of its work on financial inclusion and access to equal economic conditions, Sambla Group has initiated a long-term partnership with the children’s rights organisation Majblomman to counteract child poverty and strengthen children’s economic future. In connection with the collaboration, the company has produced a practical parents’ guide on how to talk about finances with their children. The Group has also further developed the training concept “Sambla explains” to make personal finance more understandable and accessible to more people.
“For us, sustainability is about making a tangible difference in people’s everyday lives. Through our services, collaborations and educational initiatives, we want to lower the thresholds to knowledge and secure financial decisions, not least for groups that otherwise risk being left behind,” says Klara Lindvall, Head of Sustainability at Sambla Group.
The Sustainability Report for 2025 describes how Sambla Group works with the five focus areas and how this work is developing in all of the Group’s Nordic markets.
