  • From e-motors to fuel cell drives: Schaeffler innovations premiere at IAA Transportation

    This year is Schaeffler’s first appearance as an exhibitor at IAA Transportation, the world’s leading platform for the transportation and logistics industry. Trucks and buses make up only four percent of the global vehicle stock, but account for 40 percent of global CO2 emissions in road transport. At the same time, the demands in transportation and logistics continue to increase.

  • Schaeffler further strengthens industrial business with purchase of Ewellix Group

    The automotive and industrial supplier Schaeffler has signed an agreement with an affiliate of Triton Fund V for the acquisition of the Ewellix Group. The purchase of the global manufacturer and supplier of linear technology components and systems, which is still conditional on regulatory scrutiny and approval, strengthens Schaeffler’s market position, particularly in the linear business.

  • New drive for electric mobility: The 4in1 electric axle from Schaeffler

    Schaeffler is focusing on electric mobility. The company is demonstrating this by simultaneously launching several new electric axle drives (electric axles). “Electric axles are a key element of our electric mobility strategy,” says Matthias Zink, CEO Automotive Technologies at Schaeffler AG. Until now, up to three drive components were assembled in one compact unit.

    Den globalt verksamma leverantören till fordons- och tillverkningsindustrin, Schaeffler, fortsätter sitt samarbete med Uppsala universitet knutet till det internationella forskningsprojektet ARIANNA (Antarctic Ross Ice-Shelf Antenna Neutrino Array). Projektet genomförs vid mycket låga temperaturer och syftet är att utveckla en detektor som kan mäta neutriner från rymden.
