The unique Duocard – the world’s thinnest USB device

Primary advantages with Duocard are a supple format that makes the card easy to carry with you, no need for a card reader or cable, and the card holds a large area for printed information. In addition, Duocard has a cheap production line making the card competitive on a global market.

 - With these features and application areas, we see great potential for this product and are now looking for partners in order to reach the global market, says David Lindgren Zacharias, CEO of Security Devices Corp.

 The inventor, Johan Wenngren, has a background as a researcher at Luleå University of Technology and has been responsible for the development and filling of the new product patent to prepare Duocard for an international launch and establishment.

 - The slim format makes the product suitable for a wide market. Duocard has an exterior that in size equals to a credit card and fits in your wallet. The development has primarily been focused on usability aspects. You no longer have to hassle with cables or card readers and you can always easily carry the Duocard with you.   

 One of Duocards main application area is for companies that have ID-cards for their employees but also want a secure login on laptops, etc. With Duocard you can have both in the same product and it is also possible to add more features as for example RFID or a magnetic stripe.

 - In particular, security companies in the banking and finance sector will see the need for Duocard and its various functions, says David Lindgren Zacharias.
