Six seconds and your money is gone. University of Newcastle has in recent research shown how easy it is to perform a fraudulent e-commerce purchase when VISA card issuers rely on static CVC.

This will not be a problem in Europe once all card issuers have migrated to 2FA in e-commerce. SMS One-Time password or preferably a national bankID authentication will prevent the fraud from happening.
