Bloggers at #SIME12: Introducing Deeped Niclas Strandh +1

  • Posted by jennifer in Blog SIME Stockholm 12 | Nov 3, 2012 @ 10:48

Time to say hi to Deeped Niclas Strandhanother fab blogger at SIME Stockholm 2012.

So, Niclas, tell us a little bit about yourself.
    – I’m Deeped Niclas Strandh. (Yes, I took my internet-handle as one of my real names) I’ve been working in digital media for many years, and as far back as 2008 I specialized in social media. This past spring I decided to buy myself a piece of agency, back home in Dalarna. So now I am a planner and owner of United Power Ad Agency in Falun. My own company,Deepedition DigitalPR, is still alive and kicking, but mostly handling my lecturing as well as some few side projects.

How do you interpret this years main topic, ‘The future is back on track?
    – Media is transforming and nowadays it’s not the new media that have to prove its worth – it’s those old media outlets that are bleeding. And somehow that’s what it’s all about – the future is back on track. The winners are the ones who didn’t look back, but those who dared to look forward.

What can we expect from you at SIME?
    – First of all, I think I’ve been given a great opportunity being able to blog from SIME. SIME is somewhat the jewel of the (very big and heavy) crown of conferences in Sweden. Of course reality, and my bad GTD-strategy, got in my way, so I will only be able to attend day 2. Luckily as a designated blogger, you get the benefit of a +1 (hey Google). And the first day of the conference my +1 will act as my substitute, instead of just a hang around.

What are you looking forward to the most ?
    – My interest in blogging, and tweeting (hell, I’m good at event-tweeting) from SIME is primarily the social networking. Meeting with friends, making new acquaintances and eavesdropping on exciting conversations, is as much rewarding as glancing down the stage. But obviously there will be great speeches. I love listening toMahesh Kumar – the world’s greatest everything. And Pär-Jörgen Pärson is a rebel with some sort of cause. And Magine, this evolutionary piece of software. Day 1, I would have wanted to listen to everything. I would love hearing Olas outlooks. And my friends Martin Deinoff and Fredrik Marcus are always great to listen to. And I guess the most intriguing, and probably the session that will be most tweeted about, will be Microsoft Reborn on the Strategies Re-drawn. So this bitch karma of mine, forcing me to skip the first day, is bad in so many ways. But like I said, I have a great substitute.

Yeah – who is this +1 blogger you’ve decided to bring along to SIME?
    –  My +1 is Sarah Bernhardt. She is an art director gone content creator at Knowit Gothenburg, with great new views on social media and digital as a way to foster not only marketing but relations!

Keep track of Deeped and Sarah!

Peter Rosdahl is surely an interesting blogger, and we’re more than happy to see him bloggin’ away at SIME Stockholm. If you don’t know him, here’s a chance to get a (quite compact) glance of who he is.
