Lundastudenter intervjuar om resvanor

Resande på landsbygden är inget som bara kommunen är intresserad av. Nu har Sjöbo kommun blivit kontaktade av en grupp internationella studenter som ska göra fältstudier kring resebeteende i Sjöbo kommun.

Studenterna kommer från Azerbajdzjan, Brasilien, Holland, Kina och Sverige och går först året på ett masterprogram på institutionen för kulturvetenskaper i Lund som heter Masters of applied cultural analysis (MACA).

Just nu kan du råka springa på dem i Sjöbo, kanske vid Ica, Coop, Netto, busstationen eller biblioteket för det utför ett grupparbete kring att undersöka hur människor på landsbygden upplever sin mobilitet. Det kommer pågå under hela april månad.

Studenterna vill gärna intervjua vanligt folk om deras resvanor och val och även genomföra egna observationer. Om du kan tänka dig att ställa upp så kan du kontakta dem på e-post: macagroup.lu@gmail.com och bestämma en tid som passar.

We are five students attending the MACA program at Lund university (a masters program in applied cultural analysis at the department of cultural sciences).

We are currently working on a project for Trivector traffic in Lund on rural mobility, and we have decided to do our fieldwork in Sjöbo. Our aim for this fieldwork is to conduct several interviews and go-alongs (go-alongs are basically interviews during commuting where one or a couple of us follow you for a short while on the bus or in your car).

Through this kind of research, we hope to gain a greater understanding of what it is to commute outside of the big cities.

We are currently looking for people willing to let us participate in their everyday-commute, and/or to just let us have an interview for whatever time suits you. If you could lend us a bit of your time, it would be of great help to us in our project, and we are quite flexible and will not ask that you change your schedule if it does not suit you!
