Skydda Group aims at becoming the leading workplace safety specialist in Northern Europe

Currently operating a total turnover of 850MSEK, the different sales markets of Skydda are now strengthening its customer offering through closer cross-border cooperation, as well as deepened relationships with suppliers and partners, under the recently launched “Skydda Group” umbrella.

Being part of stock-listed Bergman & Beving’s Workplace Safety Division, Skydda Group stretches its ambitions, now aiming to become the leading workplace safety specialist in Northern Europe, by expanding already existing product offerings and developing new markets as well as capitalizing on its deep experience and expertise in ensuring safer working places.

Henrik Brinkhagen, new CEO of Skydda Group

A key success factor in this journey is a strong and dedicated group management, which we are delighted to present more in-depth below. We are also taking the opportunity to welcome Henrik Brinkhagen (picture) as new CEO of Skydda Group as of October 16, succeeding Jonas Peterson who has been instrumental in establishing the Group structure over the past years.

Jonas now takes on an active role in the Board of Directors at Skydda Group, where his continued support combined with Henrik’s leadership expertise and the whole management team’s commitment, we at Skydda Group are very excited to embrace new opportunities on our journey into the future. Henrik is excited about the opportunity and is looking forward to embarking on this journey: "I'm thrilled about the opportunity to join the skilled and enthusiastic team at Skydda Group. I genuinely look forward to contributing to Skydda's relentless efforts in providing innovative solutions for a safer workplace," Henrik says.

The Management Group of Skydda Group will consist of Henrik Brinkhagen as Head of Skydda Group, Lars Holmblad as CFO, Mathias Sonninger as Head of Product & Supply Chain, Karoline Klatran as Head of Marketing, Anne Ericsson as Business Support Manager, Lena Karlsson as interim HR Manager, Johan Törnblad as CEO Skydda Sweden, Vegard Aune as CEO Skydda Norway, Marko Järvelin, as interim CEO Skydda Finland and Marcus Brynell as Head of International Sales.

Fredrik Valentin, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Head of Division Workplace Safety, expresses his enthusiasm for Skydda Group’s ambitions, and warmly welcomes Henrik Brinkhagen to the Group: “I believe that Henrik’s passion, drive and relevant experiences from companies such as Zington, First Mover Group and Rexel will further accelerate Skydda Group’s journey forward”, says Fredrik and continues: “At the same time I am very happy that Jonas Peterson, who is leaving the position as Head of Skydda Group to pursue his lifelong passion for sports and events, continues to support Skydda Group as part of the Board of Directors, and I look forward to continuing our successful cooperation in this new set-up."
