Slättö recruits Fredrik Thorén as Director, Financing

Slättö recruits Fredrik Thorén as Director, Financing, to complement the firm’s already strong financing team. Fredrik will play a key role in helping realise the business opportunities Slättö continues to generate in Sweden, Finland and across the Nordic region.

Fredrik Thorén brings a wealth of experience in real estate financing. He joins the company from a position at Nordea as Head of Business Banking Unit Real Estate in Sweden, where he was responsible for all the unit’s commercial real estate financing. Fredrik has held several roles at Nordea (2009-2022) including in the Nordea Markets, Corporate and Institutions group. In his new role, Fredrik will further strengthen Slättö’s financing team and help the firm continue to drive performance and growth.

- Slättö had a strong 2022 despite a challenging macro environment. We have closed transactions for a total value of 3.5 billion SEK, with solid performance across Slättö’s funds. We’re seeing an increasing amount of attractive deal opportunities in the market and are very pleased to welcome Fredrik to our team to support growth.
