Henric Ungh, an international sales professional, has been appointed the new CEO of Smart Refill

Smart Refill, based in Helsingborg, a leading provider of web-based and mobile solutions, has appointed Henric Ungh as the new CEO. Prior to his new assignment Henric was the global Sales Director at the Malmö based telecom company Doro. Before joining Doro, Henric held senior positions within Sales and Marketing at Sony Ericsson, Ericsson and Siemens, in Germany and England. Henric assumes the CEO position on November 5.

Since its start in 2006, the Swedish development company Smart Refill has had a steady growth path in telecom and fintech. In 2017, Smart Refill reached 668 MSEK in turnover. The ambition is to accelerate the expansion of the company, both in Sweden and internationally.

With many years of leading sales positions at Sony Ericsson in Sweden, Germany and England, aside being the VP Sales at DS Smith and Doro, Henric Ungh has a solid track record of driving national and international sales and expansion.

Software company Smart Refill, based in Helsingborg, has appointed Redha Cherif new Chief Technology Officer. Redha has many years of experience in software development in the company’s both business areas, finance and telecom, and prior to his assignment was CTO at consulting company Wunderdog. Redha started his employment on April 1st and will become a member of Smart Refill's management team.

​Jonas Morän becomes new Business Development Manager at Smart Refill

Smart Refill announces the recruitment of Jonas Morän to the position of Business Development Manager. After 18 years at Ericsson, Sony Ericsson and Sony Mobile, Jonas Morän was recently product manager at Anima, the company that developed the hybrid smartwatch Kronaby Sweden. Jonas Morän will become a member of the management team and the recruitment is part of the company’s expansion strategy.

Loyalty - a strong trend in telecom

​In Sweden there are 3,219,000 active prepaid telecom cards. Telecom partner Smart Refill sees a trend that operators are placing greater emphasis on increasing customer satisfaction and thus keeping customers longer. Smart Refill is now expanding the loyalty module in its telecom platform to meet the increased requirements from operators. The first operator to access the functionality is Telenor.
