SSG Mobile to be extended to include more functions

SSG Mobile will have a number of new functions added after the summer. Among other things, factories will be able to use mobile phones to pass on to contractors local information which used to be included in the local training and was handed out on paper at the gates.

"They may receive site maps or emergency numbers to call in the event of an accident, for example – the kind of information that does not need knowledge assurance. When you log onto the SSG Mobile website on your mobile, you will see a menu option which includes site information from local sites near to your location. If you then click on the site in question, you will see a digital noticeboard containing the information you need," explains Lena Wiig, service owner at SSG.

"This will be an excellent supplement to the local training," she adds.

Popular mobile service

The new mobile website SSG Mobile, which was launched last year, is very popular among customers as it helps to make SSG's most popular services more readily accessible. Here, customers can now renew and certify training courses, check access requirements, create incident reports and carry out risk assessments, all with a view to preventing accidents in the workplace.

The mobile services can be accessed via m.ssg.se
