Standout Capital invests in Refined, a globally leading site-building tool within Atlassian’s ecosystem

Refined, a globally leading site-building tool for Atlassian Confluence and Jira, is taking the next step in its growth journey by partnering with Standout Capital.

Refined has over 4 000 customers globally and has experienced strong growth, not least in the core U.S. market. Standout Capital will become a significant shareholder in Refined, partnering with the founders who remain majority owners.

Founded in 2009 by Emil Sjödin and Jimmy Lundström, Refined has grown to become the leading site-building tool for Atlassian Confluence and Jira. With the help of Refined’s products, customers open up Atlassian Confluence and Jira to new target audiences, improve use cases as well as simplify the user experience for existing users.

Refined now has over 4 000 customers globally including both smaller customers and global enterprises such as PayPal, Spotify, Airbnb, IBM, Apple and NASA.

With a strong product focus since inception, Refined has established a reputation for their high-quality products and a successful product-led growth strategy has resulted in a strong track record of organic growth. The company has 30 employees based in Malmö and in Helsinki, as well as a large network of Atlassian partners and resellers across the globe. Following the investment by Standout Capital, Filip Lidman will join the board of Refined.
