THINGS welcome Björn Jernström as THINGS Wall of Fame member number seven

THINGS Wall of Fame is presented each year to an exceptional and inspirational role model within the community of entrepreneurs in Sweden: someone who has built a successful business empire based on pioneering innovative hardware technology.

”We are delighted to have Björn Jernström joining our entrepreneurial dream-team in THINGS Wall of Fame", says Linda Krondahl, CEO and Co-founder THINGS. ”His Ferroamp is yet another great example of the importance of great hardware to deliver spectacular software” continues Linda Krondahl.

Björn Jernström founded Ferroamp 2010 based on a now patented innovation that improves the use of a three-phase supply and developed it into an advanced energy and power optimization solution for homes, real estate and industry. The concept is a modular system based on a local DC nanogrid that enables flexible integration of solar PV, energy storage, small-scale wind power and charging of electric vehicles. In a unique solution, several buildings can also be linked together in a microgrid – Powershare. Ferroamp has received numerous international awards including 2018 Global Cleantech 100 and was listed at Nasdaq First North Growth Market 2019. The massive electrification trend brings many challenges which Ferroamp help address. Financial Times just named them one of the fastest growing companies in Europe and an annual turnover of 77 MSEK and a 1 BSEK market cap makes their and our future look brighter.

"I'm really happy and honoured to be welcomed to the Things Wall of Fame and its group of experienced entrepreneurs”, said Björn Jernström, Founder Ferroamp.

Previous members of THINGS Wall of Fame are: Martin Gren Axis (2015), John Elvesjö, Tobii (2016), Nicolas Hassbjer, HMS (2017), Stina Ehrensvärd, Yubico (2018), Sven Lindström, Midsummer (2019) and Thomas Öström, Climeon (2020)
