A therapeutic agent, lethal to music. Mixmaster was born and raised in the belly of music on a small island with rich musical styles, rhythms, heavy base and sounds.
So very passionate about sharing the best and combining everything from 80’s pop and disco, reggae, dancehall and hip-hop; The mixmaster provides something for everyone.
Having first established his name at the tender age as a child, his father used to let him stand on crates so that he could reach the turntable to teach him the basic of mixing music. Caught by the musical bug from his father who was already drenched in the music and dancehall culture also owned a sound system call stereo two.
Standing to impressive, growing up in the pimento walk community near Ocho Rios in St Ann, Jamaica. The Mixmaster has been at the nexus of music, dance, fashion, and nightlife entertainment for over half his life; dedicated to bring the best of what music has to offer. Music and dance mixed, he also was a dancer master who won a few competitions and mentor many dancers in the field.
After years of development, rocking down the best venues and events around Jamaica and the Caribbean. Mixmaster has played apart in many of events involving the best production teams from England; Ministry. Full of talent and versatility with many styles so many big selectors look up to him as one of the baddest selectors in the world.
Outside of Music his fans also appreciate his Ovadose vibes. An entrepreneur in the music business; Producer, and Promoter. Promoter for a few hot events such as, Bubbles Nipples, Ovadose Monday’s and The annual Detention. Played at some of the island biggest events, Chug it Portmore, Soak St Ann, Every last Monday, Drink N Rave, Crates. Mixmaster Ovadose anniversary and Zj Diamond from Zip year to year party; Over Rave.
Produce mixtape for Artists like, Zagga. Teflon. Deep Jahi, Colour Redz. Ajafari.or aidonia Zamunda. Worked with Little Hero, Kalado. Drop Di Bass Records, Faith Records, Cut Stone Records, Unity Yard Records. His passion, talents and determination points to the top.
