Dedication, long jevity and passion in the dancehall arena has brought her to "DUN" (dancehall United Nations). An official representative of the official dancehall world platform. She waited for the day when the dancehall arena can unite and flourish on a platform for greatness, opening other doors and opportunities.

The Queen; Having such a title "Dancehall Queen" has opened the door for many opportunities. Her dedication and passion for dancing and music made her embrace her title 'Queen Latesha' more so. Having such a title "Dancehall Queen" has opened the door for many opportunities. Her love and passion for dancing and music made her embrace her title 'Queen Latesha, whom is currently a Dance Instructor/ Choreographer that promotes and advertise her skills and regard it as her full time career.

Currently a Promoter, Dance Instructor/ Choreographer opening opportunities for many artist and dancers. Already dedicated over over ten (10) years in the entertainment industry as a young entrepreneur, Queen Latesha has toured over fourteen different countries including the U.K., U.S.A, Europe, Japan, Antigua, Barbados, Costa Rica, St Vincent, Trinidad and Tobago to name a few, where she has been invited to special entertainment events as a Performer, Special Guest, Guest Judge or Host representing her country.

She was honoured with the ‘Music Industry Achievers Award’ for Best Female Dancer 2011, The ‘Stone Love Award’ for Best Female Dancer 2012, ‘Uptown Mondays Award’ for Best Creative Dancer 2013, The ‘Dance Expressions Award’ for her contribution to the development of the Dancehall Industry 2013 and others. Queen Latesha has worked with most of Jamaica’s prominent Entertainers including Shaggy, Beenie Man, Macka Diamond, Gyptian, Mr. Vegas, Lady Saw, and Mavado just to name a few along with many more local and international acts. She was also working consistently for four years with Charmaine “Macka Diamond” Monroe, featuring in music videos, performing on shows, touring and campaigning as one of the main role players aligned with the Diamond District promotional team.

In 2006 she represented Jamaica by entering the U.K.’s Dancehall Queen Competition in which she won. She decided to advance in the field of entertainment and started exercising her skills as a model, she landed her first opportunity working with Finesse Model Agency promoting and advertising for brand name products and clothing lines. Some of her hobbies include singing, reading, dancing as well as venturing new ideas she finds entertaining, a very vibrant individual and being spontaneous is one of her strongest attributes.

Being exposed to a small fraction of the entertainment industry as a petite model other prospects aroused in the pipeline within a short time afterwards which led her to enter one of Jamaica’s most popular dancing competitions only three days prior to the event.

Working diligently for over ten (10) years in the entertainment industry as a young entrepreneur, Queen Latesha has toured over fourteen different countries including the U.K., U.S.A, Europe, Japan, Antigua, Barbados, Costa Rica, St Vincent, Trinidad and Tobago to name a few, where she has been invited to special entertainment events as a Performer, Special Guest, Guest Judge or Host representing her country. In 2006 she represented Jamaica by entering the U.K.’s Dancehall Queen Competition in which she won. In 2012 she was invited on set to be a part of Tyra Banks Tv Show the ‘America’s Next Top Model’ Episode 19 that was filmed in Falmouth, Jamaica. This was indeed a remarkable gig to reckon with in Queen Latesha’s portfolio, she was on set working with the models to choreograph a dance routine for a challenge in which the models she worked with won the challenge. Latesha has consistently been achieving her goals and doing well in the entertainment industry and being credited for it as well.

In July of 2013 Queen Latesha was in England for her tour which included dancer icon Ding Dong and Badda Bling one of the selectors from Flava Unit Sound. The tour was satisfactory as it covered over five events across London. Later that year in October – November, Queen Latesha continued her tour and was in Europe for the first time for an absolutely amazing display of her talent. The fans in Europe accepted her well and were out in numbers for her workshops and performances;

She was invited to four countries France, Italy, Sweden and Finland visiting over nine different cities Paris, Stockholm, Tampere, Helsinki, Jyvaskyla, Turku, Termoli just to name a few. Queen Latesha is known for her creativity, style and attitude, her character portray a person with a benevolent charisma. She is an extraordinary dancer in her field and always captivates her audience by her zealous performance. As a Professional Dancer she is one of the best in Jamaica ranking in the top ten best female dancers. The Queen has created and help to endorse various dance moves as well, some of the dance moves created by Queen Latesha are “Splashy Dashy”, “Panni Bud”, “Dash It Out”, “Bully” and her most recent “Powah Up Wine” can be seen in Macka Diamond’s music video “Wine” that has special highlights of this dance move which is still active as one of the best female dance moves.

Queen Latesha is a lover for music and dancing but also likes to venture into recording on her free time, working at various studios. There is a tribute to the late Great Bogle (Jamaica’s Greatest Dancer) a team effort collaboration by some of Jamaica’s Dancehall Pioneers- Ding Dong, John Bling, Craigy Dread, Boysie, Keiva, Mad Michelle, Latonya Styles, Queen Latesha and the vocalist on the track is Don Frisko the project was the idea of Dancer John Bling who invited Queen Latesha to take part. The track was recorded at Danny Champagne Studio and also produced by him, the name of the track is called ‘WE ARE THE DANCE’, there is also a music video done with all the dancers including clips of Bogle and Jamaica’s first Dancehall Queen Carlene.

Queen Latesha is still operating her own Dancing Workshop Classes called “Dancing Exercise Aerobics” where she teaches dance lessons and help individuals maintain a body free from obesity. One of her most recent achievement is having registered and open her own entertainment company called “Queen Latesha Promotions & Booking Agency” which is located at 36 Burlington Av, Kingston 10.
