Swedish Tyre Recycling has been honoured with two design awards – one for the design of their anniversary book and another for the short film When glass meets steel, featuring glass sculptor Lisa Hartwig Ericson.
Swedish Tyre Recycling was founded as an organisation in 1994, with operational collection beginning in January 1995. This means that tyre recycling in Sweden has now been in operation for 30 years—an anniversary we are celebrating in part by launching a special edition book. The book is a tribute to recycled tyre materials and a way to showcase the countless possibilities they offer.
Svensk Däckåtervinning grundades som organisation 1994, och den operativa insamlingen startade i januari 1995. Det innebär att däckåtervinning i Sverige har varit verksam i 30 år, ett jubileum vi firar bland annat genom lanseringen av en jubileumsbok. Boken är en hyllning till den återvunna däckråvaran och ett sätt att lyfta fram de otaliga möjligheter materialet erbjuder – i ett helt nytt format.
