Press Invite: The packaging of the future at Scanpack 2022

Welcome to Scanpack, northern Europe’s largest packaging event, which takes place 4–7 October at the Swedish Exhibition and Congress Centre in Gothenburg. Four years have passed since the last event, making this a much longed-for comeback with many exciting news and exhibitors from all over the world.

When Scanpack opens its doors on 4 October, more than 400 exhibitors will be standing ready to welcome every visitor. The event having been postponed a year due to the pandemic, this is a long-awaited reunion. Over the course of four days, 17,000 participants (2018) will be attending Scanpack to experience the future in production, packaging design, materials, and smart packaging, as well as to network and make connections with leading actors.

Ground-breaking innovations in materials, machinery, printing, design, and Smart Industry are showcased during Scanpack. Visitors meet with the industry’s key suppliers and take part in a highly topical seminar programme, where a number of international top names and companies will speak.

New this year are Scanpack Summit and Scanpack Pioneers, which have been added following requests from the exhibitors for venues to discuss the complex challenges facing the packaging industry.
