Creditor meeting in Gothenburg District Court grants continued reconstruction for Swedemount Sportswear & Fashion AB
On Monday, a meeting was held in Gothenburg District Court in order to decide whether the company reorganization should be allowed to continue the three-month period that has begun.
The District Court has decided that Lars Zetterberg, Ackordcentralen (Gothenburg), alone shall be the company's Corporate Reorganizer.
Neither Swedemount's bank nor the Skatteverket (Swedish Tax Agency), which is by far the largest creditor in the company reconstruction, had any objection to the process continuing. In addition, Swedemount received support from almost all suppliers, which led the district court to decide that the company reconstruction should continue.
- We humbly thank the support we have received from the parties involved in the company reconstruction. Not only of those who participated in the meeting today, but also of our talented and loyal staff who have also been involved and fought to get us through the recent challenges. We will now work intensively and purposefully to complete the final parts and be able to continue working for at least another 30 years. Says the Chairman of the Board Ulf Bjerknes, who leads the reconstruction group that supports the company's management during the reconstruction work.

Swedemount Sportswear & Fashion AB startade i Grebbestad 1991 och har idag 21 butiker under namnet Sportshopen samt en butik under namnet Bazar.
Sportshopen tillhör idag en av de större enskilda aktörerna i Sverige av försäljning inom sport och fritid. Våra butiker finns primärt utmed västkusten och norska gränsen med en växande e-handel som även sträcker sig mot den europeiska marknaden.
Vårt sortiment består i huvudsak av kläder och skor från ledande märkesleverantörer, men vi utvecklar och tillverkar även plagg under våra egna varumärken – kläder som ska kunna användas av den aktiva familjen vid aktiviteter i alla klimat, året runt.
