Umeåkonferens enar krafter för att möta framtidens risker med infektioner

Scroll down for an English version: På måndag samlas svenska över 30 företag och organisationer som är verksamma inom området för infektionsprevention och kontroll för att kraftansamla och identifiera samverkanspunkter. Genom gemensamma satsningar hoppas man kunna öka antalet investeringar i svenska företag och forskning, samt öka exporten. Allt för att nå en internationell arena med sin redan nu goda expertis och därmed bli en betydelsefull aktör i den utmaning som infektionsområdet förutspås att stå inför. Sweden has a high number of companies within the field of infection based on world class research. To improve the knowledge about this relatively large group of companies, as well as to create networking opportunities there will be a two days national meeting in Umeå, at Umeå University, starting with lunch Monday April 23 and ending with lunch April 24. The program will include seminars on relevant topics as well as time to make useful contact during coffee breaks and dinner. Program This will be a great opportunity to meet colleagues from the industry covering all areas of infection: From drug development of small molecules to probiotics as well as diagnostics and hygiene. The presentations will cover key issues e.g. market, IPR and government policies. This meeting will also highlight infection as an important field for the Swedish life science industry.
