Lexington Clothing Co. - Spring/Summer 2010
Lexington Clothing now launches the Spring/Summer 2010 Collection. The brand continues with relaxed
and comfortable garments, keeping with the original concept of American casual luxury - designed in
combination with the latest trends and fashions. Inspiration for the spring collection, for both him and her, comes from the American casual life – but also from the American way of urban chic.
Strong colors in combination with white, khaki and blue are important this season, both for Man and Woman.
The materials in the Spring/Summer 2010 Collection consist of light cotton for handcrafted flirty tunics and dresses, soft-brushed jersey for hoodies and pants, thin poplins with a soft wash for an extraordinary comfortable feel for shirts and blouses, cotton and cashmere for knitted sweaters and cardigans and worn-out denim, twill and canvas for pants and shorts. Details are important! You will see embroideries and laces, but also prints and texts. Notice also the inside of the garments i.e. labels, tapes and tiny embroideries. A comfortable feeling already at first use is one of the important characteristics of Lexington Clothing, made possible by different kinds of garment washes. This season’s colors consist of a range of red, pink and coral matched with a lot of blue, white and khaki for the girls. Key garments are, beside embroidered tunics and dresses, a fantastic flowered skirt and a khaki dress.
The colors are also important for the guys this season. The range of colors goes in washed red,
coral and yellow together with basics like white, khaki and blue. The new Lexington Shirt Depot displays a variation of Lexington’s unique brushed cotton poplin shirts, classic oxford shirts and a short sleeve safari shirt. New for the summer season is a cotton-linen soft washed shirt for a casual luxury look. Brushed jersey for hoodies and pants, knitted sweaters in cotton and cashmere blends,
as well as soft jersey for t-shirts and polos and heavy washed canvas and twills for pants and shorts are
as always in the collection. All details are worth noticing – buttons, typing, prints and linings give
each garment its unique character. Key garments in the men’s collection are the coral striped
Lexington shirt, the red knitted cardigan and of course the classic chino.
The collections are complemented by accessories such as shawls, belts, a classic straw hat,
flip-flops, and canvas bags in three different sizes.
