Jan Edhäll has been appointed CEO of 3G Infrastructure Services as of 1 June 2001. He comes most recently from Allgon where he was CEO. Prior to this, Jan worked for Ericsson for 24 years, holding a variety of posts both in Sweden and abroad.

Today Orange took a formal step towards co-operating with 3G Infrastructure Services AB - the established joint venture between Hi3G Access AB and Europolitan Vodafone to build and operate a 3G infrastructure.

3G Infrastructure Services AB will be the name of Hi3G and Europolitan Vodafone's equally owned joint venture company. The company will provide the two companies with a UMTS infrastructure covering up to 70 per cent of the Swedish population.
Hi3G fortsätter att rekrytera i rask takt och anställer ytterligare tre nyckelpersoner. Ineke Botter kliver in som teknisk chef, Eva Elmstedt från Semcon tar ansvaret som IT-chef och Niclas Lilja från Framfab blir informationschef.
