3G Infrastructure Services AB will be the name of Hi3G and Europolitan Vodafone's equally owned joint venture company. The company will provide the two companies with a UMTS infrastructure covering up to 70 per cent of the Swedish population.

The forecasted funding requirement of 37 billion SEK in Hi3G's application to The Swedish National Post and Telecom Agency (PTS) assumes that the company finances the whole activity as described in the business plan on its own, and without any co-operations or financial leverage.

Both parties are open to co-operation with others.
