Unilabs will be present at the 34th European Congress of Pathology in Basel

Geneva, 1 September 2022: Unilabs, the leading European diagnostic services provider, will participate in the 34th European Congress of Pathology that will take place in Basel between 3 and 7 September. Participants can visit Unilabs’ pathologists at the booth 2F12.

“We are thrilled to participate in the ECP 2022 and look forward to showcasing our comprehensive range of pathology services across Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America,” says Unilabs’ Chief Medical and Operations Officer, Dr Christian Rebhan. “At Unilabs, we continue to invest in technology and automation, making digital pathology the way of working across our entire footprint. We are pioneering the integration of innovative and approved AI solutions into our regular workflow, including prostate cancer, breast cancer, and skin cancer –– and more coming soon. We created a new proprietary reporting platform for pathology to enhance simplicity and subspecialty diagnostic reporting for pathologists. Soon we will be launching an e-learning platform for pathologists via our Unilabs Academy, building on our success in radiology, with 21,000 CME credits awarded in 2021. All of this makes us a top tier provider of high-quality pathology services and the preferred employment partner for pathologists in the regions we serve.”

With more than 330 pathologists and over 1,600 pathology lab professionals across its network, Unilabs provides comprehensive laboratory and diagnostic reporting solutions in histopathology and cytology. Thanks to process digitisation, subspecialist pathologists from Unilabs’ network can be called in for consultations, resulting in accurate and timely diagnoses.

Unilabs operates on all scales of pathology service, collaborating with governments on national screening programmes, while also assisting clinics and hospitals by managing in-house services and facilitating quick, effective treatment decisions for tens of thousands of healthcare professionals.

We look forward to meeting with pathologists and healthcare professionals in person at ECP 2022. If you wish to speak to us, please visit unilabs.com/ecp for more details.
