Unimedic Pharma launches Melatonin Oral Solution – prescription-free option for adults experiencing jet lag
Unimedic Pharma is proud to announce the launch of Melatonin Oral Solution (30 ml, 1 mg/ml), the first prescription-free liquid formulation available in Sweden for the short-term management of jet lag in adults. This product offers flexible dosing tailored to individual needs and is particularly suitable for those who find swallowing tablets challenging. Its compact bottle also makes it ideal for travel across multiple time zones.
“The oral solution allows doses to be precisely adjusted according to individual requirements, making it both practical and convenient to use,” says Magnus Fougstedt, Product Manager at Unimedic Pharma.
Administered using a dosing syringe, Melatonin Oral Solution facilitates accurate measurement and personalised dosing. This prescription-free option complements Unimedic Pharma’s existing portfolio, which already includes prescription-only Melatonin in various bottle sizes.
“We aim to provide solutions that combine medical relevance with everyday convenience. Our new prescription-free Melatonin solution is an in-house developed product designed to help patients manage sleep disturbances caused by jet lag in a safe and flexible manner,” says Johan Frödin, CEO of Unimedic Pharma.
The product will first launch in Sweden, with plans to expand to additional markets in the future.
