Satechi GaN 100W PD has arrived to the Nordics - one of the first GaN-chargers
Satechi 100W GaN charger is not only a powerful and versatile travel charger for the home or office, but it is also one of the first GaN chargers on the Nordic markets.
GaN stands for Gallium Nitride and is more efficient and generates less heat than silicon. GaN is predicted to reduce energy consumption around the world as it begins to be used in more and more products.
In the case of the Satechi 100W GaN, it leads to a physically smaller charger than before but still manages to give us 100 watts. This is the maximum amount of power that the USB-C Power Delivery standard can handles. And its not getting as hot as other chargers. The 100 watts are then distributed on the two USB-C outputs and 18-watt USB-A output.
The Gan Charger has the ability to charge up to three devices simultaneously in these combinations: 100W, 100W / 12W, 60W / 30W, 12W.
