 Best polygrips: Bahco gets highest score

 

In the leading Swedish boat journal Praktiskt Båtägande, Bahco polygrips is selected best in test among other well known channel locks. Bahco’s polygrips, from the Ergo series, are nowadays a modern classical tool designed by Ergonomidesign. They are fabricated in France but few people know about the story behind the renowned grips.

"In 1984, a collaboration between designers, technicians and professional users started here in Sweden and we developed the first polygrips for Bahco. Over the years the grips have undergone major changes, particularly regarding the design of the handle. It has become more ergonomic and is more adapted to the users’ needs and demands. Up until today me and my colleagues have developed more than 400 tools for Bahco", says Mr. Hans Himbert, industrial designer at Ergonomidesign.
