Danska artisten Soleima släpper nyaelektrodoftande singel - ”STFU” ute nu
Den danska singer songwritern Soleima skapar redan ringar på vattnet med sin personliga stil och unika sätt att skriva popmusik. Tidigare var hon signad till Warner Danmark men nu tillhör hon Big Beat/Atlantic Records i USA. ”STFU” är Soleimas första singel med det nya skivbolaget handlar om att vara annorlunda och hylla varandras olikheter.
“We live in a time where people have multiple platforms in which they can always express themselves freely. This is so beautiful, but the dark side of this is that in our attempts to speak our minds, we tend to spread a lot of hate. Some things are better left unsaid; we should all educate each other in showing more love. If we are bitter and hateful…maybe we should just ‘shut the fuck up’”.
2018 var ett stort år för Soleima då hon släppte sin genombrottssingel ”Low Life” och efterföljdes av EPn ”Bulldog” som blev utvald till listan ”20 Great Pop Songs From 2018's First Half You Might Have Missed”. Soleima vann “Best Newcomer” på Danish Music Awards och “Talent of the Year” på P3 Guld galan. Under 2019 kommer Soleima att synas på ett flertal festivaler runt om i Europa, bland annat kommer hon uppträda tillsammans med MØ på Roskildefestivalen den 4 juli.
