ENYA TILLBAKA MED NYTT ALBUM DEN 20 NOVEMBER
Grammy Award- vinnande sångaren Enya är tillbaka med nya albumet “Dark Sky Island” som släpps via Warner Bros Records den 20 november. Enya Patricia Brennan teamade under albumprocessen upp med producenten Nicky Ryan och lyricisten Roma Ryan våren 2012 efter att ha blivit inspirerad av Roma’s arbete med en rad diktsamlingar om bland annat ön Sark ”Dark Sky Island” utanför Normandies kust.
“This album has a theme of journeys, journeys to the island; through the length of a lifetime; through history, through emotions; and journeys across great oceans. So although it’s not a ‘themed’ album, as such, we nevertheless have an underlying connection between songs.” – säger Enya.
Albumets första singel "Echoes in Rain" besitter en oemotståndlig våg av eufori och delar samma äventyrliga teman som Enyas genombrotts hit "Orinoco Flow".
Enya inledde sin musikkarriär år 1980 och har fram till idag belönats med fyra Grammy Awards, sex World Music Awards, en Ivor Novello, en Oscars nominering för temalåten “May It Be” till Sagan om Ringen, en Golden Globe nominering. Hon har med sina sex studioalbum toppat listorna världen över och sålt fler än 75 miljoner album och singlar.
Albumets första singel "Echoes In Rain" släpps imorgon fredag, men lyricvideon släpptes redan idag. Lyssna HÄR.
