Atos right on track for Nanjing Youth Olympics 2014 with 40 days to go

As an Official IT Partner, Atos has been working closely with the Nanjing Youth Olympic Games Organizing Committee (NYOGOC) for over two years to implement the strategy and detailed processes for Games IT Integration and Operation as well as deliver the vital Games Management and information Systems including the games workforce management system, the accreditation management system, the games information systems and volunteer portal.

This is a role that Atos has relished over the past two decades and spanning six previous Olympic and Paralympic Games and one Youth Olympic Games around the world.  Leveraging this unrivaled experience and proven expertise, Atos is confident of not only meeting expectations from the organizers, competitors and audience but empowering new levels of performance with its mission-critical IT infrastructure for the Games too.

At Games time, a dedicated team of business business technologists will work behind the scene at the Technology Operations Center in Nanjing to ensure  effective, seamless project management with laser focus on risk management, optimized technical solutions and flexible resource management to the Games.

With an expected global viewing audience in the billions, close to a million ticket holders expected, 20,000 volunteers, 6,000 youth athletes from the 204 National Olympic Committees (NOCs) competing in 28 sports events in 28 venues, and more that 3,000 media representatives covering 2014 Nanjing Youth Olympic Games, Atos is all set to raise the bar in delivering yet another record breaking games under the scrutiny of the world..
