USHERING SMART CITIES: EVORICH Gives Active Participation in The India International Smart-Sustainable Cities Conference and Exhibition 2016

In what can be regarded as one of the most ambitious plans that India Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has for revolutionising India, EVORICH steps up her serious game of being an advocate of Green and Sustainable Environment by giving active participation in India’s 100 Smart Cities Project.
The India International Smart-Sustainable Cities Conference and Exhibition was held on the 7th of April 2016 at Shangri-La’s Eros Hotel in New Delhi, India. With the theme “Opportunities and Strategies for Global Cooperation”, the event gathered wide attention and was participated by local and International attendees who were actively involved in knowledge-sharing speaker presentations, technical sessions, and extensive networking opportunities with eminent names within the Smart & Sustainable Cities sector.
EVORICH Group Managing Director Mr. Dennis Teo was one of the speakers through which he emphasised the significance of choosing eco-green building materials in residential, commercial, and institutional construction projects towards achieving Smart and Sustainable Cities.
In one of the interviews conducted, Mr. Dennis Teo was asked what EVORICH can offer to Smart City in which he said, “EVORICH introduces eco green and sustainable building materials from floors to decking and we are selling not just in Singapore but also in the Asia Pacific region. We hope to play our part in India’s mission to build 100 Smart Cities through the introduction of our eco-green products from birth to end of product life cycle”.
By introducing Evo High End Resilient Flooring (Evo HERF) that absolutely looks like wood but without any element of wood, EVORICH eco-green products help reduce cutting of trees and prevent the making of coatings with melamine and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) content – all of these posing harmful and chronic threats to the environment and to mankind subsequently.
“…we believe our products will allow people in India to enjoy a better floor having real wood flooring feel without having to cut trees”, Mr. Teo further stressed.
The India International Smart-Sustainable Cities 2016 Conference & Expo served as a platform to major stakeholders of urban development, energy, ICT and eGovernance to discuss and deliberate on the various models of Smart City. Providing eco-friendly and sustainable flooring and decking products – this is EVORICH’s model towards achieving a Green and Smart Community that can be sustainably enjoyed and utilised across generations of mankind.
With regards to making India’s Smart Cities Project feasible, Mr. Teo leaves us some inspiring words:
