Young NTUC Crossroads- An inspiration night with Evorich Flooring Founder
As this is the first time that this series was hosted outside of NTUC Centre, to create a cosy and interactive environment, a spacious central area was specially arranged for participants of Young NTUC Crossroads- Inspiration Series, a talk given by Mr. Dennis Teo, Founder and Managing Director of Evorich Flooring Group.
The session was attended by youths to touch on perceiving challenges in gaining employment. Dennis was honoured to share his experiences on setting up his business and tips on how to have a better work-life balance.
At 7.30 in the evening, youths from diverse backgrounds visited Evorich’s latest flooring gallery at Woodlands. A buffet snack bar was catered by NTUC, everyone was enjoying the food and started to mingle around before the talk began.
Participants were eager to ask questions ranging from the early start-up years of Evorich Flooring on how Dennis maintains motivation in life. Of course, work-life balance is a hot topic. Many were curious on how Dennis could juggle between work and family life. As Dennis is always on the go on his work, as his employee, I was glad too that I had the sheer privilege to attend the talk to know more about his entrepreneurship and leadership spirit.
During the session, youths were able to gain an insight of Evorich’s core values – Speed, Integrity and Reasonable pricing. Occasion laughter and funny questions posed by youths had also made the atmosphere more light hearted and enjoyable.
Although the participants still had a set of questions for Dennis, unfortunately the night had to come to its end. Before ending off, Mr Desmond Choo presented a token of appreciation to Dennis for the event.
"It was an incredible night for all of us knowing that there are many youths concern and believe in the future developments of the world. As we shared and learnt about each other stories, it also helps us to shape our business and understanding of consumers’ needs", said Mr. Dennis Teo, Managing Director of Evorich Holdings Pte Ltd.
