CYFIRMA Successfully Concludes Incubation, Separates From Antuit Group

SINGAPORE/TOKYO, 22 October 2019 – CYFIRMA, a predictive cyber threat visibility and intelligence analytics platform company, announced today its separation from its parent company, Antuit Group.

Backed by Zodius Capital and Goldman Sachs Merchant Banking Division, CYFIRMA has received a multi-million-dollar figure in additional funding to fuel its growth aspirations. As it strikes out on its own the company seeks to embrace sizeable global market opportunities. According toGlobal Market Insights, Inc the cybersecurity market is set to exceed USD300 billion by 2024.

The separation marks the successful conclusion of a two-year incubation period for the firm. CYRFIRMA helps organisations keep their cybersecurity posture up-to-date, resilient, and ready against upcoming cyberattacks, through the use of proprietary artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies.

Kumar Ritesh, Chairman and CEO of CYFIRMA, says, “Being backed by globally recognised strategic partners is testament to the success of our company, which has earned a reputation as a market leader, acquired global customers and grown its revenue base significantly in a short time frame of just two years.”

He adds, “Going independent will allow us to put a strong focus on our core business and provide greater agility as we compete globally. The additional capital will accelerate our growth, enabling us to hire key resources, carry out market expansion and invest further in product engineering.”

Headquartered in Singapore and Tokyo, CYFIRMA plans to enter the Indian market next.

Originally launched in 2017 as a cybersecurity division under Antuit Group, CYFIRMA helps companies address new market pain points, as requirements for organizations have shifted from creating functional cybersecurity postures, to having to maintain it against well-funded, constantly evolving, cyber threat actors. Today, organizations face an inability to obtain deep insights around cyber events and lack of integration of intelligence in cybersecurity posture management.

“To date, CYFIRMA’s flagship platform has helped to rectify such issues and has enabled clients to evade compromise from major threat events such as WannaCry, Petya, Bad Rabbit, and other significant breaches,” comments Ritesh.

“CYFIRMA has a unique standing in the global cybersecurity and threat intelligence markets,” comments Neeraj Bhargava, Senior Managing Director and Founder, Zodius Capital. “Since 2017, Antuit has incubated CYFIRMA which has been mutually beneficial, creating value and shareholder interest in the entity. It is timely now for CYFIRMA to become a separate entity. We have invested in CYFIRMA’s unique intelligence-driven approach, technology, and the real-world benefits organisations can receive. We remain wholly confident that Ritesh will continue to lead the company from strength to strength.”

With a strong track record of developing successful cybersecurity strategies, products, policies, standards, and solutions, in addition to running complex cybersecurity programs, Ritesh has helped create the company’s award-winning, cloud-based, Cyber Intelligence Analytics Platform (CAP) v2.0, which is used by several Fortune 500 companies.
