AmBank Group Banks on Software AG’s webMethods to digitally transform its Retail Banking Services
SINGAPORE, 22nd September 2015– Software AG today announced that AmBank Group, one of the Malaysia’s premier financial solutions groups, is using Software AG's webMethods platform to seamlessly integrate its core banking applications with its own premise applications. webMethods comprehensive integration platform enables AmBank to build a single cohesive infrastructure that provides the capability to enhance ease of maintenance, time to market with the capability to reuse the services built as well as provide a comprehensive transactional framework. webMethods enabled a consistent approach to all the integration activities within the bank .

AmBank engaged with Software AG Global Consulting Services (GCS) to drive the implementation of the rewiring project.The GCS team worked closely with AmBank to understand the requirements, defined the blueprint of the solution, designed and built 300+ services based on Service Oriented Architecture principle to connect the different channels with the new core banking system and other back-ends in the bank.
Consecutively, Software AG was awarded “The AmHorizon Top Implementation Partner” for the core banking replacement Phase 1 project on the April 25th 2014.
