Naval Base Secondary School- Goodrich Global Art Scholarship

Since 2012, Naval Base Secondary School has been developing niche strength in the Visual Arts and in collaboration with Goodrich Global Pte Ltd, is offering up to 10 NBSS-GG Art Scholarships for Secondary One Navalities each year. Each scholarship is worth $800 and will be awarded to secondary 1 pupils in 2014 who are admitted via the Direct School Admission (DSA) 2012 programme.

In appreciation of Goodrich Global’s sponsorship, Mr Chan Chong Beng, Chairman of Goodrich Global, was presented with an exquisite handcrafted ceramic vase. This token of appreciation was crafted by Ms Low Jia Min, Melissa, a recipient of the NBSS-GG Art Scholarship for graduates in 2012.

This symmetrical ceramic vase was handpainted with vibrant pinks and peach tones to enhance the lotus-inspired textures. Currently, this budding artist is pursing a Diploma in Apparel Design and Merchanding at Temasek Polytechnic.

Goodrich Global is certainly pleased to receive this wonderful gift and we wish Miss Low Jia Min, Melissa, all the best for her future undertakings.
