SCOOT TO TAKE OVER SILKAIR’S LANGKAWI, PEKANBARU AND KALIBO SERVICES
Singapore – SilkAir, the regional wing of Singapore Airlines (SIA), will be transferring its services to Langkawi in Malaysia, Pekanbaru in Indonesia and Kalibo in the Philippines to Scoot, the low-cost subsidiary of SIA. SilkAir’s last Langkawi, Pekanbaru and Kalibo services are scheduled for 8 April, 30 May and 28 June 2018 respectively.

Singapore - SilkAir, the regional wing of Singapore Airlines, will be transferring its services to Kuching in Malaysia and Palembang in Indonesia to Scoot, the low-cost subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, starting 29 October 2017 and 23 November 2017 respectively. Currently, the airline flies four times weekly to Kuching and thrice weekly to Palembang.

These series charters are part of the continuing joint efforts to promote a direct Singapore-Okinawa air link.
SilkAir to codeshare with Lao Airlines
SilkAir, the regional wing of Singapore Airlines, has signed a codeshare agreement with Lao Airlines for its flights to Vientiane and Luang Prabang, providing SilkAir and Lao Airlines customers more options when travelling to and from Singapore and Laos. From 31 October 2016, SilkAir will offer three weekly flights on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
