Surbana Jurong bags three new facilities management contracts

Surbana Jurong’s facilities management entity, SMM Pte Ltd, has recently secured three new facilities management contracts to further cement its position as a strategic partner providing integrated facilities management services to developers, real estate asset owners and end users.

Seletar Aerospace Park (JTC Aviation One & Two, JTC Space and Standard Factories)

SMM has been appointed by JTC Corporation as its facilities management company for its standard factories, JTC Space as well as two high-rise buildings, Aviation One and Two. The contract is for a period of three years with option to renew.

Located in Seletar, the new aerospace park is aimed at providing additional capacity for the aviation industry and complementing the existing aerospace activities at Changi North and Loyang. When completed, it will create up to 10,000 jobs and generate highly-skilled employment opportunities in Singapore.

Our range of services include providing a professional FM team of site manager, certified green mark manager, fire safety manager, workplace safety and health officer and others. It will also cover the preventive and corrective maintenance of the building, mechanical & electrical (M&E) systems, air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation (ACMV) system, fire protection system, cleaning and conservancy works as well as pest and landscape management.

Nanyang Technological University

The Nanyang Technological University (NTU) has re-awarded SMM the term contract for ACMV maintenance works at its campus grounds. With this new three year contract, SMM will be the longest serving ACMV term contractor for NTU.

In addition to ACMV maintenance works, we will also support and execute energy programmes such as the Green Mark certification (with a target to be the first certified green campus in Singapore) and manage the Fault Report Center of NTU’s Fire Command Center.

Raffles Institution

SMM has clinched a term contract by Raffles Institution to provide the maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems at the premise for a period of two years. This project award comes after the successful completion of an earlier 5 year contract to maintain the institution’s M&E systems.
