  • Significant new investors to Sulapac

    Mika Ihamuotila and Planvest Oy have invested in the company in order to accelerate its internationalisation and R&D, which aims at replacing plastic with fully biodegradable material.

  • Naviter chooses Sulapac ecological packaging for its natural cosmetics range

    Sulapac’s fully biodegradable packaging has been selected by Finnish cosmetics company Naviter for its new Atopik range of natural cosmetic products. Atopik All Over Balm will be the first cosmetic product to use Sulapac as its primary packaging. Naviter CEO Anni Linnavirta: “Thanks to Sulapac’s innovative and sustainable packaging, our packaging and content can now speak the same language.”

  • Sulapac begins cooperation with leading Finnish jewellery company Kultakeskus

    Sulapac, creator of ecological packaging materials for cosmetics and luxury products, is to begin collaborating with Finnish jewellery company Kultakeskus. Sulapac has designed fully biodegradable jewellery cases that will be used to showcase selected designs from the prestigious Kohinoor range of diamond jewellery. The new jewellery cases will be introduced at PCD Paris between 31.1.-1.2.2018.

  • Sulapac from Finland wins Europe’s first founder’s prize for the circular economy

    Finnish start-up Sulapac® is the winner of the 2017 Green Alley Award, Europe’s first founder’s prize for start-ups in the circular economy. In total, six finalists from Germany, Finland, Ireland, the Netherlands, and France presented themselves in live pitches to an international jury and audience. The prize for the winner Sulapac consists of cash and non-cash items valued at 30,000 euros.

  • Sulapac awarded as the winner at Sustainable Beauty Awards in Paris

    Sulapac was selected as the winner of the Sustainable Packaging category at the Sustainable Beauty Awards. The award ceremony took place at the Paris Marriott Champs-Élysées on 6th November 2017. Sustainable Beauty Awards gives recognition to companies who are pushing the boundaries of sustainability in the beauty industry.

    Sulapac has been announced as one of the top 10 Winners of Global Cleantech Cluster Association 2017 Later Stage Awards, highlighting the best of the best in cleantech. The GCCA’s Global TOP10 winners represent the best of the Association’s member clusters and over 10,000 member companies.

    Sulapac® has been selected as the best green packaging solution at the LUXE PACK in Green Awards in Monaco. The award was presented by H.S.H Prince Albert II of Monaco at the award-ceremony on Tuesday evening October 3rd.

  • Sulapac selected for Stora Enso startup Accelerator Programme

    Stora Enso has chosen six startups to join its Accelerator Programme, a joint startup initiative organised by Stora Enso, Aalto University Developing Entrepreneurship (Aalto ENT) and Vertical Accelerator. Sulapac was one of the chosen ones, selected from a pool of over 120 applicants.
