Cavotec has supplied 400Hz converters and pop-up pits, as well as DX pre-conditioned air (PCA) units, and PCA pop-up pits.
A Cavotec pit system at Stockholm Arlanda Airport. Heated plates ensure that our hatch pits remain operational in snowy conditions.
We have unveiled our innovative Series 2500+ ground power unit at inter airport Europe 2015. The system, readily combined with a 400Hz modular coiler (PowerPack I-connect), has been designed for the global market and to meet airlines’ growing environmental and operational requirements.
We've been at Inter Airport Europe this week, demonstrating how our E3 (Ergonomics, Economy and Environment) Gate concept improves operational efficiency at the gate and apron by providing 400Hz power, PCAir, blue and potable water and sewage – and now fuel – via underground pits. It was another fantastic Inter Airport Europe - see you in 2015!
Cavotec systems such as these minimise tarmac congestion, drive operational efficiency and reduce environmental impact at airports worldwide. We design, manufacture and integrate ground support equipment, including 400Hz power supply, pre-conditioned air, refuelling and wet services systems that are housed in underground pits, tunnel systems and mobile ground power units.
Our ground support systems are playing their part in Dubai Airport’s newly-opened flagship terminal: the world’s first dedicated to the Airbus A380 superjumbo. Cavotec equipment at the airport includes Pop-Up Pits such as these that supply air to parked aircraft. We have worked with major airports in the region for many years, and is currently working on projects at several other hub airports.
Our new premises at Dietzenbach, south-east of Frankfurt. The facility incorporates office space as well as production capacity where we manufacture advanced ground support equipment for aircraft. The premises will be officially opened this week during a two-day exhibition from which we will also be posting some images.
