Trioplast takes another step towards a circular economy with the launch of a manual stretch film made from 75% recycled material – of which minimum 51% from Post-consumer recycled (PCR) sources.
Trioplast has developed a silage stretch film made with post-consumer recycled (PCR) material. This is a step forward in closing the loop of plastic in agriculture. And the new product has the same properties as conventional silage stretch.
On November 22st, Trioplast Group signed an agreement to acquire the Dutch company Apeldoorn Flexible Packaging, AFP, a leading player in solutions for load stability and food packaging, from JPF Netherlands BV, an entity of B.C. Jindal group.
Trioplast’s vision is to reach zero carbon footprint, and with a growing sustainable portfolio of products the company is taking big steps towards that. And by simultaneously having close collaboration with raw material suppliers and customers the path to the goal will become even shorter.
Thanks to many years of research and large investments, Trioplast can already today offer a large sustainable product portfolio. Next to products with reduced material usage or raw material made from renewable recourses, Trioplast has now developed the first premium silage stretch film ever based on post-consumer recycling material.
Every day, three people in Europe dies because of accidents caused by poor load securing and unstable goods. Trioplast Packaging and Safety Center is the Nordic region’s only test center for load securing and our hope is to prevent unnecessary accidents caused by transport packaging not being secured in the right way.
